I love my new Nokia 5800 and it quickly became my primary phone
contrary to Symbian-Freak. Yet, there are things where the
little red devil just drives me crazy and makes me wanna throw it into a bucket of holy water.
Here are five things, which make me hate my Nokia 5800:
- Access point group handling is not even consistent in the built-in firmware
(Sometimes it asks for the group to be used, sometimes it does not offer groups.)
- UI rotation is random at best and needs to be tilted in unnatural ways
(E.g. if I put it down on the table it goes to landscape.)
- No application support. Download! contains 15 applications only
(Many apps are being updated, none of them is in the catalog.)
- Connecting to new WLAN requires canceling the auto-search and refresh manually
- When writing an SMS, I have to choose between phone number and e-mail address.
Luckily, all of these are software related, so I just need to wait for the firmware update :-)
